As part of our ongoing Chamber Check In series, Executive Director Kelly Webster recently met with John Cramer, Director of the Oconomowoc Arts Center (OAC), to learn more about the incredible work happening inside this vibrant community space.
The Oconomowoc Arts Center is a true cornerstone of the arts in our community. Under John’s leadership, the OAC continues to be a gathering place where creativity, education, and entertainment come together for residents of all ages.
The Center has a strong partnership with the Oconomowoc Area School District, regularly hosting school performances and providing students with a professional stage to showcase their talents. In addition to school collaborations, the OAC works with numerous local groups while also welcoming professional theater companies and performers to Oconomowoc. Their popular tribute performances consistently draw large, enthusiastic crowds and have become a favorite for many in the community. They will be welcoming Heart of Rock & Roll, a Huey Lewis and the News tribute band on March 21st.
While Kelly and John were visiting, Silver Lake Intermediate students were on stage performing Frozen Jr. for their peers—a perfect example of the OAC’s commitment to giving students meaningful performance opportunities. Community members still have a chance to catch the show later this week and support these talented young performers. For more information and to purchase tickets, click here.
The Oconomowoc Chamber Foundation supported the Silver Lake Intermediate performance of Frozen Jr. through a grant in 2025.
What makes the OAC especially unique is how thoughtfully they utilize every part of the facility. Visitors are greeted by beautiful art displays from local artists, with rotating exhibits that often feature student artwork from area schools. Every visit offers something new to see and experience.
The Oconomowoc Arts Center is a performance venue and a hub for artistic expression and community connection. We’re grateful for the role the OAC plays in enriching our community and proud to have them as a valued Chamber member. Interested donors can click here to contribute.
